Chairman of Improvement Trust Amritsar and Aam Aadmi Party In-charge of North Assembly Constituency, Karamjit Singh Rintu, inaugurated the premix laying work for the upgradation of Mall Road. Karamjit Singh Rintu stated that after the renovation of Mall Road, the road will be given a modern and improved look, providing great relief to the public.

He further said that over the past four months, work has been continuously carried out to streamline the sewerage system and construct streets across all wards and group panchayats of the North Assembly Constituency. He added that with the commencement of the premix plant, road construction work has also been accelerated and will continue at a steady pace.

Rintu said that the benefits of pro-people schemes initiated by the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab are being consistently delivered to the residents of the North Assembly Constituency. He mentioned that camps are being regularly organized for the issuance of Chief Minister Health Scheme cards.

Additionally, under the Punjab State Trade Commission, camps are being held where traders’ grievances are heard and addressed on the spot by issuing directions to the concerned officials. He further stated that under the Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme, buses carrying devotees from the North Assembly Constituency are being regularly flagged off for visits to religious places.

He also highlighted that under the Punjab Government’s ‘Apna Karobar, Apni Pehchan’ campaign, women entrepreneurs have been honored at district-level functions. He added that the ‘Maa-Beti Satkar Yojana’ is set to be launched soon, bringing a sense of happiness among women.

Rintu emphasized that he regularly visits the public, listens to their concerns, and ensures timely resolution. “Our aim is not just to carry out development works, but to provide every household with a clean, safe, and comfortable environment,” he said. He expressed confidence that every issue of the people of the North Assembly Constituency will be resolved at the earliest by taking full responsibility.

On this occasion, Senior Deputy Mayor Priyanka Sharma, Ritesh Sharma, Vishakha Singh, Balwinder Kala, Bobby Sareen, Rajneesh Kumar, Ankur Gupta, Sumit Singhania, Kishore Bhagat, Kuldeep Laddu, along with other prominent residents of the area, were present.
