Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, MLA Ramgarh and Former Minister for Health and Medical Education, J&K, today celebrated the festival of Holi with the brave jawans of the Border Security Force at BSF 101, Chamliyal Shrine, in Jammu and Kashmir.
The occasion was marked by vibrant colours, traditional warmth, and a deep sense of national pride. Interacting with the BSF personnel, Dr. Manyal extended heartfelt Holi greetings and appreciated their unwavering dedication, courage, and sacrifice in safeguarding the nation’s borders under challenging conditions.
He said that celebrating festivals with security forces strengthens the bond between civilians and the armed forces and boosts the morale of the jawans who remain away from their families while serving the country. Dr. Manyal highlighted the spiritual and cultural importance of the historic Chamliyal Shrine, which attracts devotees from across the region and beyond.
He noted that such occasions promote communal harmony, cultural unity, and peace, reflecting the true spirit of Jammu and Kashmir. The event also received support and facilitation from Jammu and Kashmir Tourism, underscoring the role of religious and cultural tourism in strengthening people-to-people connections.
Dr. Manyal prayed for peace, prosperity, and good health for all citizens and expressed solidarity with the BSF and other security forces. He reaffirmed his commitment to work for the welfare of ex-servicemen, martyrs’ families, and border area residents, emphasizing that the nation stands united with its defenders on every front.
