Punjab Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian today met Aam Aadmi Party’s National Convener Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab in-charge Manish Sisodia in New Delhi and congratulated them on their acquittal in a false case. S. Mundian welcomed the decision of the Special CBI Court in Delhi to acquit Mr. Kejriwal, Mr. Sisodia, and 23 others, saying that truth has finally triumphed.
He said that with this victory of truth, the Court has also put its stamp of approval on the staunchly honest policies of the Aam Aadmi Party. S. Mundian stated that this decision is clear evidence of the strength of the Indian Constitution and the independence of the judiciary.
Congratulating both national leaders on emerging victorious in the verdict, he said that the people of the nation and the party cadre already knew well that their leaders were being implicated in a false case due to political vendetta. Now, with this decision, the falsehood of the central government has been publicly exposed.
He further said that the investigating officers had made extensive efforts to fabricate the case through improper means and the court has also recommended disciplinary action against those responsible for these wrongdoings. He described the verdict as not only a major victory for both the leaders but also for truth and democracy.
