Karamjit Singh Rintu, Chairman of the Improvement Trust Amritsar and In-charge of the Aam Aadmi Party's North Assembly Constituency, initiated the renovation work of Anand Park. Rintu stated that the redevelopment work has currently begun, fulfilling the demands placed before him by the Anand Park Association. This work will cost approximately one crore rupees, giving the main park a new and modern look.

Karamjit Singh Rintu stated that the local residents' concerns were carefully heard at the meeting held by the Anand Park Association, and many were resolved on the spot. He added that daily visits to the public in the North Assembly Constituency are being made to listen to their concerns and resolve them on priority.

He added that other important development projects in the area were also reviewed in today's meeting.  During the meeting, the Aam Aadmi Party's public welfare policies were also explained to those present.

Rintu stated that the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab is providing all kinds of benefits to the people. He stated that cards are being issued under the Chief Minister's Health Scheme, which will provide free treatment for a family up to 10 lakh. He stated that people are taking advantage of this facility.

Rintu stated that in a historic initiative to strengthen food and nutrition security on a large scale in Punjab for the first time, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann announced the launch of the "Meri Rasoi" scheme. Under this scheme, free food kits (ration kits) will be distributed to 4 million families in Punjab every three months, starting in April.

These food kits will be provided in addition to the wheat provided under the National Food Security Act. Raj Pratap Bajwa and other prominent personalities were also present on the occasion.
