Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan, today chaired a meeting of officers from KPDCL and JKPTCL to review the power scenario across the district, with special focus on arrangements during the holy month of Ramadan. During the meeting, the DC directed the concerned officers to ensure uninterrupted and smooth electricity supply, especially during Sehri and Iftari hours. 

He stressed the need for close coordination between departments and real-time monitoring of the power supply to minimize disruptions. He also urged the public to use electricity judiciously and avoid the use of heavy-load appliances and crude heating devices to prevent overloading and ensure a stable power supply for all consumers. 

The meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning, ACR, Executive Engineer ED Kulgam (KPDCL), Executive Engineer STD Bijbehara (KPDCL), Executive Engineer TLMD-VIII Bemina Srinagar (JKPTCL), and Executive Engineer TLMD-VI Bemina Srinagar (JKPTCL) and other officers.
