The Public Works Minister S. Harbhajan Singh ETO reviewed the registration process of the free health insurance scheme of Rs 10 lakh under the Chief Minister's Health Scheme at village Chauhan in Jandiala Guru assembly constituency. During this, he reviewed the progress of the registration work. Speaking to the people present on this occasion, Cabinet Minister S. Harbhajan Singh ETO said that under this scheme, a health insurance card will be made for every eligible person, through which free treatment will be provided in government and listed private hospitals. 

He said that the present government is giving top priority to health and committed to providing high quality health services to the people near their homes. Cabinet Minister S. Harbhajan Singh ETO said that under the instructions of the Punjab Government, 57 mobile camps have been set up by the district administration in Amritsar district where cards of the Chief Minister Health Scheme are being made. 

He appealed to the residents of the district to reach these camps with their documents and get their registration done on time. On this occasion, he gave detailed information about the process of making health insurance cards and motivated the people present on the occasion to take maximum benefit of this scheme. 

He said that the main objective of the Chief Minister Health Scheme is to ensure that no citizen of Punjab is deprived of treatment.
