In Dera Baba Nanak, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) received a major boost when, under the leadership of MLA Gurdeep Singh Randhawa, hundreds of Akali and Congress leaders and workers left their traditional parties and joined AAP. MLA Randhawa gave a warm welcome to all the leaders and workers who joined the party. 

He expressed hope that with the induction of new members, the party’s base will become even stronger not only in Dera Baba Nanak but across the entire region of Majha as well. MLA Gurdeep Singh Randhawa said that people are very happy with the Aam Aadmi Party’s pro-people policies and development works. 

As a result, people are continuously leaving opposition parties and joining AAP. He said that in the coming days, even bigger joining events will be witnessed. Making a big claim regarding the next Assembly elections, Randhawa said that the people of the state are inclined towards AAP. 

He expressed confidence that in the 2027 elections, the Aam Aadmi Party will create history by winning more than 100 seats, breaking its own previous record.
