The centralized on-air transmission of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 was held at PM SHRI GGMSSS-18 under the guidance of the Honourable Chief Secretary, Shri H. Rajesh Prasad, IAS. The programme conveyed a powerful and inspiring message to students across the country, built around the guiding thought “Mann ko jodo, mann ko joto”—urging students to align their minds, channel their focus, and apply disciplined effort.
Students were encouraged to take ownership of their learning, remain self-motivated, and maintain a healthy balance between academics and personal life. A symbolic presentation of the Assam gamcha paid tribute to women’s empowerment and India’s rich cultural heritage.
The interaction emphasized the need to maintain harmony between academics, sports, and continuous skill development, highlighting that skills are of two kinds—life skills and professional skills—both of which must be consciously nurtured. Discipline, positive social conduct, and professional excellence were underlined as key attributes for success.
Students were reminded of the reflective life principle, “बीता है उसकी गिनती न करो, बचा है जो उसको ध्यान से देखो,” encouraging them to focus on future opportunities rather than past setbacks. It was reiterated that life itself is not an examination, and examinations are merely milestones in shaping a better life. Practical guidance was shared on planning each day in advance, preparing daily to-do lists, and regularly reviewing progress to strengthen time-management skills.
Students were advised to treat examinations as a celebration rather than a burden, understand that marks are important but do not define an individual entirely, value truthfulness and real experience as sources of confidence, and remain willing to step out of comfort zones to achieve meaningful goals.
The importance of dreaming supported by sustained hard work, maintaining a constructive and practical mindset, setting focused personal goals, building small consistent habits, reading biographies, drawing inspiration from national icons, and practicing Vedic mathematics to enhance analytical thinking was also highlighted.
Students were further encouraged to actively contribute to the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 through responsible personal actions such as promoting swadeshi practices, ensuring cleanliness, maintaining good health, and performing their duties towards the nation with sincerity. The event was attended by Shri Nitish Singla, Director School Education, Chandigarh Administration, along with senior officials of the Education Department.
Ananya Sharma, accompanied by her escort teacher Ms. Harjit Kaur from GMSSS-20D, who represented Chandigarh at Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026, was also present at the venue and shared her experiences with the officers. Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 reaffirmed that true achievement is rooted in discipline, self-belief, constructive habits, and consistent effort, far beyond examination scores alone.
