Dedicated to the service of humanity, Sohana Hospital, Mohali, continues to take new initiatives for the well-being of patients. In line with this commitment, the hospital has launched a special campaign to mark February as 'Cancer Awareness Month.'

Under this initiative, free consultations and free second opinions from cancer specialists are being provided throughout the month, from February 1st to February 28th. The primary objective is early detection of cancer and providing accessible treatment to the public.

Fulfilling its social responsibility, the hospital also organized a special Free Mammography Camp from February 2nd to February 4th. The camp focused on raising awareness about breast cancer among women and provided screenings using state-of-the-art technology.

A large number of women took advantage of this facility and received guidance from expert doctors. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Gautam Goyal, Medical Director (Oncology), stated, "Often, people delay testing due to fear, which can be dangerous.

If cancer is detected at an early stage, it is completely curable. Timely screening can save millions of lives. Patients should make the most of this month-long facility." Bhai Gurmeet Singh, Trust Secretary, reiterated the hospital's commitment, saying that the goal of Sohana Hospital is not just to treat but to instill hope for life in patients.

He shared that thousands of patients have been successfully treated here, and today, more than 25,000 cancer survivors are leading happy lives. Sohana Hospital continues to play a leading role in the fight against cancer with its modern technology and expert medical team.
