A faculty member of Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh, Dr. B. Adinarayan, delivered a Keynote Address during the 5-Day Workshop on Startup Promotion and Acceleration through Creativity & Entrepreneurship (SPACE-2026) organized by the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), National Institute of Technology (NIT) Kurukshetra.
The workshop was conducted under the theme “Viksit Bharat and Innovative India: Sustainable Development towards SDG 2030.” Dr. Adinarayan delivered his keynote on 25 January 2026, titled “Reshape and Design of Urban Mobility for Indian Smart Cities: Sustainability, Innovation, and Research.”
In his address, he highlighted sustainable urban transport systems, innovation-driven mobility solutions, and research-based strategies essential for the development of Indian smart cities, while emphasizing alignment with national development priorities and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030.
Dr. B. Adinarayan expressed his gratitude to the organizers for the invitation and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful deliberations on innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable urban development.
