Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh is undertaking a research project titled “Image Processing of Casting Products,” sanctioned by the Punjab State Council for Science and Technology under Capstone Project Edition II. The project team includes Dr. Simranjit Singh (Associate Professor, ECE), Dr. Jaskirat Kaur (Assistant Professor, ECE), along with students Mr. Monit Chawla (B.Tech 4th Year) and Ms. Kvincy Naman (B.Tech 3rd Year).
The project focuses on advanced image processing techniques for inspection and quality assessment of casting products, aiming to address real-world industrial challenges and promote smart manufacturing and automation.
