In a continued effort to strengthen grassroots governance and accelerate development in the Dhuri constituency, Chief Minister Punjab’s OSD, S. Sukhvir Singh, today held a detailed meeting with sarpanches and panches of 24 villages at the CM Facilitation Center, Dhuri. He reviewed the status of ongoing and upcoming development works and interacted with residents to understand their concerns.

During the interaction, OSD Sukhvir Singh listened to public grievances and ensured on-the-spot redressal of several issues. He reaffirmed the Punjab Government’s commitment to responsive, people-centric administration and directed officials to ensure prompt resolution of genuine public issues.

Village sarpanches and panches expressed their gratitude to Punjab Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann for releasing development grants for their respective villages. They said that the pro-people policies of the state government have infused new momentum into rural and urban development across the constituency.

OSD Sukhvir Singh said that under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is firmly committed to the holistic development of villages and cities. He assured that no shortage of funds will be allowed for development works in the Dhuri constituency and that required funds are being released in a timely manner to ensure uninterrupted progress. 

He added that the Chief Minister personally reviews daily progress reports of development works in the Dhuri constituency to ensure accountability and timely completion. He also conducted a comprehensive review of development projects being executed in various villages and instructed the concerned department officials to complete all works strictly as per prescribed quality standards and within stipulated timelines.

During the meeting, sarpanches and panches from villages including Isra, Dhura, Bhojowali, Bugra, Bhalwan, Manwala, Kakarwal, Dhuri, Mulowal, Kila Hakiman, Alal, Sultanpur, Dhadogol, Sherpur Sodhiya, Bangawali, Rangiyan, Dohla, Dugni, Mimsa and Kaulsedi shared detailed updates regarding the ongoing and proposed development works in their respective areas.

On the occasion, Punjab Waqf Board Member Dr. Anwar Bhasaur, along with Ramandeep Singh, Manpreet Singh, Davinder Singh, Jagsir Singh, Harjeet Singh, Bhagwan Singh, Rajinder Singh, Jagjeet Singh, Amandeep Singh, Sukhchain Singh, Amrik Singh, Jarnail Singh, Darshan Singh, Jasvir Das, Jagran Singh, Harvinder Singh, Amritpal Singh, Jasvir Singh, Gurjeet Singh, Khalid Khan, Baldeep Singh, Ramandeep Singh and Harpreet Singh, besides a large number of sarpanches and panches of the Dhuri constituency, were present.
