Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal MLA Ramgarh and Former Minister for Health & Medical Education, J&K, Former General Secretary BJP J&K today said that BJP Ramgarh organized an Atal Smriti Sammelan in the Ramgarh Assembly Constituency, dedicated to former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Shraddhey Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji.
On this occasion, under the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, a Vocal for Local initiative was organized in the form of a local products exhibition-cum-awareness programme in the Ramgarh Assembly Constituency. The programme aimed at promoting indigenous products and strengthening local entrepreneurship.
The exhibition witnessed active participation from various sectors including food products, handloom, agriculture, textiles, and different government departments, all coming together to encourage and showcase local production and self-reliance.
Prominent leaders present on the occasion included Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, MLA Ramgarh; Adv. Rekha Mahajan, Prabhari Samba and Vice President BJP J&K; Manmohan, Vice Prabhari; Asha Rani, District OBC Morcha President And Programme Incharge Harvinder Singh (Binder), District Mahila Morcha President Indu, District SC Morcha President Pankaj, District President BJP Samba; Keshav Dutt Sharma, DDC Chairman; Mandal Presidents from Ramgarh, Swankha, Bainglar and Rajpura; DDC Members Anita Choudhary, Sarbjit Singh Johal, Subash Bhagat, and Ramesh, former BDCs, along with former Sarpanchs and BJP party workers from the Ramgarh Assembly Constituency.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Manyal highlighted the contribution of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji towards nation-building and said that the BJP continues to follow his ideals of good governance, development, and inclusive growth. He stressed the importance of supporting local products to strengthen the rural economy and generate employment opportunities.
Adv. Rekha Mahajan, while addressing the gathering, said that former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji’s vision of strong governance, inclusive development, and national unity continues to guide the BJP’s policies and programmes.
She emphasized that the Local for Vocal campaign is a powerful step towards making India economically self-reliant by empowering local artisans, farmers, and small entrepreneurs, and appealed to the people to adopt and promote indigenous products in their daily lives.
Dr. Manyal reiterated that such initiatives not only pay tribute to the visionary leadership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji but also play a vital role in empowering local artisans, farmers, and entrepreneurs, thereby strengthening the foundation of a self-reliant India.
