Chairman of Improvement Trust Amritsar and Aam Aadmi Party in-charge for North Vidhan Sabha constituency Karamjit Singh Rintu inaugurated the construction of a Mohalla Clinic in Smile Enclave located in Gram Panchayat Baba Deep Singh Ji. Karamjit Singh Rintu informed that the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab is continuously increasing the number of Aam Aadmi Clinics.
He informed that the number of Aam Aadmi Clinics in Punjab has reached about 915. He further said that a total of more than 77 Aam Aadmi Clinics are currently functioning in Amritsar district, and their number is being further increased. He further said that the Punjab government is continuously providing access to health services to the people.
Rintu said that this Mohalla Clinic will be completed very soon and dedicated to the residents. He stressed that Mohalla clinics have a significant contribution in the health revolution. He said that people are availing free benefits of 40 types of tests and medicines at Mohalla clinics, and lakhs of people are getting free treatment at Mohalla clinics set up by the Punjab government across the state.
Senior Deputy Mayor Priyanka Sharma and dignitaries of the area were present on the occasion.
