Punjab State Information Commission Marks Pious Event Dedicated to 350th Martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib

Special Documentary showcasing the Life journey of Guru Tegh Bahadur was also screened in the Commission and pictorial brochure depicting the Life Journey of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib

To mark the supreme sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib a significant pious event dedicated to the 350th martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, was held under the patronage of Chief information Commissioner Punjab Inderpal Singh Dhanna in Chandigarh where in a significant pictorial brochure depicting the Spiritual Journey of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib was released by Inderpal Singh Dhanna, Chief Information Commissioner, Punjab along with Harpreet Sandhu, Dr. Bhupinder Singh Batth and Sandeep S. Dhaliwal, State Information Commissioners, Punjab.

Special documentary showcasing the life journey of Guru Tegh Bahadur was also screened in the Commission, previewed by the Commission officials. The documentary dedicated to 350th martyrdom year of  Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib has been complied by Harpreet Sandhu, State Information Commissioner Punjab as a noble contribution.

The pictorial brochure and the pious book dedicated to 350th martyrdom year of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib was also presented to the commission officials within to spread the pious message of Ninth Sikh Guru of Universal brotherhood and peace. Inderpal Singh Dhanna, Chief Information Commissioner, Punjab stated during the pious event that the publication of the pictorial brochure and the book honors the Ninth Sikh Guru's supreme sacrifice and eternal message of peace, sacrifice, and the book authored by Harpreet Sandhu State Information Commissioner, Punjab showcases the visuals of the historical shrines where Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, left his foot prints. 

The said book has already been released by the Hon'ble Governor of Punjab in Raj Bhawan Chandigarh for the State of Punjab. The author of the book Harpreet Sandhu, State Information Commissioner, Punjab stated that the book will serve as a true tribute to the unparalleled legacy of the Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib revered as “Hind Di Chadar” for his supreme sacrifice in defense of religious freedom and human dignity.

The pious event dedicated to 350th Martyrdom year of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib concluded at Punjab State Information Commission, Chandigarh with tribute to the unparallel legacy of the great Guru revered as "Hind Di Chadar" for his supreme sacrifice in defense of religious freedom and human dignity.
