Deputy Commissioner Rahul Chaba and SSP Sartaj Singh Chahal today reviewed the arrangements at Government Ranbir College, Sangrur, for the Light & Sound Show being organized by the Punjab Government on November 11 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to commemorate the 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of Hind Di Chadar Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.

Deputy Commissioner Rahul Chaba stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government has undertaken significant efforts to familiarize the Sangat with the glorious history of the Ninth Guru, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, who made the supreme sacrifice for the protection of faith and human values.

He appealed to all residents of the district to attend this historic Light & Sound Show along with their families and friends at Government Ranbir College, Sangrur. Rahul Chaba informed that the captivating Light & Sound Show, based on the life and teachings of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, will last for about 45 minutes. 

Prior to the show, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., the audience will also witness Dhadhi Waaran performances narrating the sacred history of Guru Sahib. He added that the event will be a heartfelt tribute to Guru Sahib’s eternal message of compassion, sacrifice, and humanity.

The Deputy Commissioner mentioned that entry for the show will begin at 5:00 p.m. on November 11 and no passes will be required for admission — the event is open to everyone. SSP Sartaj Singh Chahal stated that to ensure public convenience, the Police Department has made adequate arrangements for parking, traffic management, and law and order. He assured that every effort will be made to avoid any inconvenience to the general public.

During the inspection, SP Rajesh Chhibber, ADC (Rural Development) Sukhchain Singh, SDM Charanjot Singh Walia, DSP Gurpreet Singh, and other officers of the civil and police administration were also present.
