Chairman of Improvement Trust Amritsar and Aam Aadmi Party In-charge of North Assembly Constituency, Karamjit Singh Rintu, today inaugurated the construction work of the main road at Medical Enclave. He said that the work of laying premix on all roads of North Constituency has already been started. He further stated that approval has been taken to repair and reconstruct all roads under Improvement Trust, Municipal Corporation, and PWD.
Within the next two months, all roads will also be widened. He added that the promises made to the residents are being fulfilled. Karamjit Singh Rintu mentioned that due to the previous company abandoning work, sanitation issues had arisen in the city.
He explained that it will take about one month for the new company to start working fully. As a temporary solution, additional machinery from the Municipal Corporation, along with private tractor-trolleys and small vehicles, have been deployed to ensure garbage lifting across the city. He assured that within a month, a permanent solution for the sanitation system will be in place.
He further stated that for de-silting of sewerage lines, super sucker and jetting machines of Improvement Trust and Municipal Corporation are working continuously, and this cleaning will remain ongoing. He added that officials are also actively working on the maintenance of street lights. Wherever a light gets faulty, it is being repaired promptly. He urged residents to contact their respective councillors or ward in-charges to resolve any local issues.
On this occasion, Senior Deputy Mayor Priyanka Sharma, Ankur Gupta, Sahil Sagar, Arvinder Bhatti, Batra Ji, Vijay Paresar, Vishakha Singh, Lakhwinder Singh, Surjit Singh, Balwinder Kala, Pranav Dhawan, and a large number of local residents were present.
