The Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA), in collaboration with Collegedunia, organized a conference on “Digital Punjab – Transforming Education Through Technology”, aiming to position Punjab as a national hub for higher education. The event was inaugurated by Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains, with MP Satnam Singh Sandhu as Guest of Honour. Key dignitaries included Sh. Sumandeep Singh Walia, social worker Karan Gilhotra, and representatives from Plaksha University.
Bains praised Punjab’s shift from “Udta Punjab” to “Padhta Punjab,” while Sandhu lauded PUCA’s efforts and pledged ₹1.25 lakh for flood relief and thanked Dr Anshu Kataria ,President PUCA & Chairman Aryans Group of Colleges. The PUCA delegation was flagged off to Kathmandu and Srinagar, promoting Punjab’s higher education nationwide.
Leaders highlighted the importance of digital tools and innovative technologies in modern classrooms to enhance student outcomes.
