MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa today conducted an on-ground inspection of water drainage problems in Wards 8 and 9 of Dhakoli after receiving reports of obstructions in the drainage pipeline. He personally visited the affected sites to assess the situation and assured residents of timely redressal.

Accompanied by party workers and locals, the MLA then proceeded to Peer Muchhalla, where he examined the heavy inflow of rainwater from the Panchkula side of Haryana. He held detailed discussions with Municipal Council officials and, after reviewing the matter, instructed them to coordinate with Panchkula authorities to find a permanent solution and prevent further damage.

He assured the residents of Dhakoli Wards 8 and 9 that necessary steps would be taken to resolve the drainage issue at the earliest. Later, MLA Randhawa rode on a scooter to Baltana, where he inspected the Sukhna Choe to review water flow conditions.

He noted that construction work for a new bridge at the site is scheduled to begin after the monsoon season. He also directed Municipal Council officials to initiate immediate action and implement the proposed solutions effectively. Mr. Randhawa appealed to the residents to extend full cooperation to officials and promptly report any further drainage-related problems.

The MLA’s proactive approach to addressing the water drainage concerns in Dhakoli and Peer Muchhalla was widely appreciated by the local residents. They expressed confidence that the proposed measures would bring much-needed relief and ensure the smooth functioning of the drainage system.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa reaffirmed, “My team and I are fully committed to the welfare of the people. We will continue working tirelessly to ensure that such issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.”
