Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore today distributed the property cards to the villagers living on Aabaadi Deh Land here at Tehsil Office Ganderbal today during an event under the SVAMITVA Scheme.

The initiative taken by the government is aimed to ensure property rights to the people living on Aabaadi Deh land in the rural areas. DC while congratulating the landowners said that this new initiative by the government will ensure documentation for their land parcels.

He further said the property card holders can produce the said cards for availing various benefits and can be used as a surety in case of any mortgage based financial assistance. As many as 55 cards were distributed among the beneficiaries present and the process will continue in the coming days. Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Tehsildar Ganderbal and other officials were present during the event.
