A live web telecast of the release of the 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Yojana by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi was today organized here in the Conference Hall, DC Office Complex Nandini Hills.
The Prime Minister announced the release of installment from Banauli, Sewapuri Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The programme in Samba was organized by the Agriculture Production & Farmers Welfare Department.
Notably, 21,429 farmers of Samba district were among the beneficiaries, receiving a cumulative amount of ₹4.285 crore directly into their accounts through DBT. Over 130 farmers participated in the event, making it an engaging and impactful gathering.
Similar programmes were also organized at zonal and panchayat levels across the district to ensure widespread outreach and participation. The event witnessed the presence of DDC Chairman Keshav Dutt Sharma, MLA Vijaypur Chander Parkash Ganga and MLA Ramgarh Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal.
Also in attendance were District Development Commissioner Rajesh Sharma, Additional District Development Commissioner, Chief Agriculture Officer and other officers.
