Deputy Commissioner Poonch Vikas Kundal today gave away Kissan Credit Cards (KCC) to a group of eligible farmers. The beneficiaries can now have easy access to the credit, enabling them to purchase necessary agricultural equipment and cover operational costs.
While handing over the cards to the beneficiaries, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of utilizing government schemes to enhance productivity and improve the financial stability of farmers. “The Kissan Credit Card is designed to offer easy access to credit for the farmers,” the Deputy Commissioner said.
“This initiative will not only support them in acquiring essential agricultural tools but will also reduce their financial burden.” Chief Agriculture Officer, LDM and other concerned officers were also present at the event.
