Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission Chairman Sardar Jasvir Singh Garhi today met the State Finance Minister Advocate Harpal Singh Cheema. During this meeting, Jasvir Singh Garhi discussed several issues related to the Scheduled Castes people of the state.
On this occasion, Sardar Garhi also apprised the Finance Minister about the functioning of the Scheduled Castes Commission and also talked about the early disposal of the pending cases related to the Commission so that the process of justice for the Scheduled Castes people of the state can be made faster and smoother.
He also demanded to provide more staff in view of the current workload of the Commission. Sardar Garhi said that the Finance Minister has assured to resolve all the issues related to the Commission at the earliest.
