Delhi Public School, Chandigarh, hosted a CBSE Capacity Building Programme (CBP) focusing on “Cyber Safety and Security.” School Director Reema Dewan, highlighted the relevance of the topic, stressing that laptops and digital tools are now integral to everyday life. 

She emphasized the importance of disseminating the learning from such sessions across all stakeholders, including parents. CBSE Resource Persons  Manjit Jauhar and  Anupama Sharma conducted the sessions, which covered key areas including cyber ethics, cybercrime, online fraud, and the Information Technology Act. 

The day featured presentations, practical activities, and interactive questionnaires, enabling participants to reflect deeply on cybersecurity issues in school environments. The workshop aimed at fostering a cyber-secure culture among educators and students.

Teachers were encouraged to lead with awareness and vigilance and to instill responsible digital behavior among learners. The programme concluded with a collective commitment to safer cyber practices.
