Students of Class XI at Delhi Public School, Chandigarh hosted their class show featuring a Nritya Natika: “Aamrapali - the Awakening of a Soul” to pay tribute to timeless grace, bright minds and rising stars on the occasion of Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony. A galaxy of Rotarians graced the occasion which included Abha Sharma, President, Rotary Club, Chandigarh, A.P.S Dhiman, Past President of the Rotary Club, Chandigarh to name a few. 

Celebrating creativity, accomplishment and commitment, the show commenced with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony. The age old saga of spirituality, Aamrapali transported the audience to Vaishali as it essayed the journey from fame to faith through a series of scenes and scintillating dances. 

The event also witnessed the formal induction of the newly appointed Interact Club members and initiation of the Early Act Club fostering the value of leadership and community service in the students’ lives. The meritorious students were also felicitated for their exceptional academic excellence. 

Addressing the august gathering  Abha Sharma, encouraged the students to develop valuable life-skills and reiterated the power of service. She motivated the budding Rotarians never to shy away from making the smallest difference. 

Dhiman also shared his words of wisdom and reminded the students of the legacy, Delhi Public School has created in its yeoman service towards community, especially towards the humane cause of Organ Donation.  School Director Reema Dewan in her address, complimented the efforts and perseverance of the achievers and appreciated the hard work of the participants who made the event successful. 

She stated that Delhi Public School is not only committed to fostering academic excellence but is motivated to enhance the confidence of the students beyond classroom.The event truly showcased the essence of the classic tale which harmoniously exhibited how the Soul Speaks, Achievers Shine, Rotary Rises. 

The show concluded with a vote of thanks and a renewed sense of motivation among students to strive for excellence. The applause by the parents proved testimony to the laudable effort of participants. Congratulations to all the awardees and participants!
