A session on "Indians and Overseas Indians' Contributions to the World in 20th and 21st Centuries” was held by notable Author and Social Worker, Sh. Ravi Kumar Iyer. Speaking on the occasion, he shared evidence based information about the numerous achievements of India which have contributed to the development of humanity, civilizations and society. 

He highlighted many of these that have not been recognized by the world and motivated students and faculty of NITTTR Chandigarh to ignite fire in themselves to bring India its true glory and recognition. He advocated that Innovations, Institutions, Infrastructure, Individuals and Inspirations are the five I’s that will make our nation even greater and stronger.

He also spoke about the India’s contributions to science, defense, space exploration, pharma, biotech, electronics, IT & ITES , UPI and entrepreneurship.Director of the institute, Prof. B. R. Gurjar expressed his confidence in the power of Indians and the massive role that they can play in the future as well.Besides several other stakeholders, the session was attended by faculty members, officers, staff, and students of the institute.
