On the last day of the Ludhiana West by-election campaign, the Congress party faced another setback, while the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) gained further strength. On Tuesday, several Congress leaders, along with their supporters, joined AAP. AAP Punjab President Aman Arora welcomed all leaders into the party in the presence of Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sondh and AAP Punjab General Secretary Dr. Sunny Ahluwalia. AAP leaders Rinka Pradhan, Varun Mehta, and Ajinderpal Kaur were also present on this occasion.

The leaders who joined AAP from Congress included Congress Youth District President Prabhjot Singh Mann, Secretary Preet Badewal, Karanjot Singh, Abhishek Preet Singh, Gurpreet Nitish, Preetpal Singh, Kulwinder Singh, Manpreet Singh, Manjot Singh, Amandeep Kingh, Lakkha Singh, and Gurdeep.

Additionally, the President of SS Jain Mahasabha, Haibowal, Pankaj Jain, along with Rajiv Jain, Praveen Jain, Divyansh Jain, Anil Jain, Yashpal Jain, and Jeevan, also joined the Aam Aadmi Party. Welcoming all new members into the party, Aman Arora said that the Congress youth leaders have joined AAP, influenced by the policies of the Aam Aadmi Party and the work done by the AAP government over the past three years.

He added that the people of Ludhiana West have decided to elect AAP candidate Sanjeev Arora. His victory by a significant margin is certain, and after his win, the development of the area will progress at an even faster pace. Meanwhile, all the newly joined members stated that they were deeply impressed by the work of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and the pro-people policies of the Aam Aadmi Party, which led to their decision to join the party.

They highlighted that, for the past three years, electricity bills in Punjab have been zero, providing significant financial relief to the common people. Additionally, improvements in government schools and hospitals have also benefited the people.
