As part of the celebrations for the International Day of Yoga, the National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA), Panchkula, in collaboration with the AYUSH Department, Haryana, successfully organized a one-day seminar-cum-workshop on June 16 for the Medical Officers of the AYUSH Department, Haryana.

The event began with the traditional Deep Prajwalan (lighting of the lamp) and the presentation of the plants to the esteemed faculty of NIA, Panchkula, as a gesture of respect and gratitude.Prof. Satish Gandharve, Dr. Ritesh, and Dr. Sunita Yadav, distinguished faculty members, delivered engaging and insightful guest lectures on topics such as "Yoga for Life," "The  Concept of Panchkosha in Yoga and Ayurveda", and "Healing the Mind through Yoga". 

Their sessions provided valuable perspectives on holistic wellness and integrative healthcare.The seminar was smoothly and effectively coordinated by Dr. Akanksha Rana from NIA, Panchkula, and Dr. Santvana Sharma from the AYUSH Department, Haryana. 

The event was also graced by the presence of Dr. Gaurav Garg (DMS Coordinator), Prof. Prahalad Raghu, Dr. Anoop M, Dr. Tanvi Mahajan, and Dr. Dhaval Makwana, all from NIA, Panchkula.The faculty of NIA expressed their sincere gratitude to the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Dean, and Dean In-Charge for their visionary leadership, unwavering support, and continued guidance.
