The District Rent Assessment Committee, which met here today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Kumar Shavan approved 19 rent cases. The rent cases pertaining to Police, Army, FCS&CA, JKRLM, Education, Health, Sheep Husbandry, RDD, Handicrafts, Agriculture, PWD and ISM Department were approved by the Committee after thorough assessment.
The Deputy Commissioner instructed the officers to pay rent to the concerned owners of land and structures on time and ensure the safety of government/rented property. He further directed the District Officers to pay the approved rent only after proper verification of records.
The meeting was attended by ADC Pawan Kotwal, ASP Pardeep Singh, AD Handicraft Pardeep Shan, CAO and other Officers and staff.
