A review meeting to assess the implementation and progress of the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana was held today here with District Development Commissioner Rajesh Kumar Shavan in the chair. 

At the outset, the Executive Engineer JPDCL briefed the District Development Commissioner on the current status of applications received and consumer registrations under the scheme. While reviewing the progress, the District Development Commissioner directed all Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) of the government departments to actively publicize the scheme. 

He emphasized seamless access to loan services by facilitating the interested persons in registrations and linking with banks. The DC also laid special emphasis on achieving visible results, including in cases of slackness.

Furthermore, he instructed the Executive Engineer to widely circulate the step-by-step procedure for availing the scheme from registration to vendor selection, bank linkage, and finally installation and commissioning.

The meeting was attended by CPO Shahnawaz Bali; ACR  Idrees Lone; SDM Marwah Mohd. Ashraf; SDM Chatroo Nayeem Ur Rahman; DSWO Zubair Ahmed; Dy. Registrar Cooperative/EO Municipality Mirza Mumtaz Iqbal; AD FCS & CA Shafqat Ali Keen; Executive Engineer JPDCL Er. Latif Wani besides others.
