Gulzar Singh Bobby today officially took charge as a member of the Punjab State Commission for Scheduled Castes in the presence of Punjab Finance Minister Advocate Harpal Singh Cheema and Chairman of the Commission, Jasvir Singh Garhi. Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema congratulated Gulzar Singh Bobby on his appointment and expressed hope that he would uphold the teachings of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in his role. 

Cheema highlighted Bobby's background in working for the downtrodden section of society as President of the Sangrur district SC wing of AAP, saying this experience would be invaluable in his new position. Chairman Jasvir Singh Garhi welcomed Bobby to the Commission, stating that his dedication would further strengthen the organization's efforts to protect and promote the interests of Scheduled Castes in Punjab.

Gulzar Singh Bobby, a resident of Sangrur city with roots in village Bangawali, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He has been actively involved in social work, serving as Joint Secretary of the Sangrur district SC Wing of AAP since 2016 and President since 2018.
