The Punjab Government, led by Chief Minister, Punjab, S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, is taking the education sector of the state to new heights. Under this series, the development works done in government schools under the banner of "Punjab Sikhya Kranti" are being dedicated to the public.

These views were expressed by MLA of Bassi Pathana constituency S. Rupinder Singh Happy on the occasion of inaugurating a boundary wall at Government Elementary Smart School, Dhanaula, built at a cost of about Rs. 06.5 lakh, and a boundary wall and a sports track at Government Senior Secondary Smart School, Maneli, built at a cost of Rs. 05.56 lakh under "Punjab Sikhea Kranti".

The MLA announced that a state-of-the-art playground will also be prepared at Government Senior Secondary Smart School, Manali.The MLA said that the Punjab government is continuously making improvements in the field of education. He said that there was a time when common people preferred to educate their children in private schools, but due to the historic steps taken by the present Punjab government in the field of education, today there has been a huge increase in the number of students enrolled in government schools.

The MLA asked the school teachers to provide benefits of the facilities being provided by the government to brighten the future of the students of government schools so that the students of government schools can also shine the name of their state and school by scoring big in competitive exams.

The MLA said that if the teachers give priority to their duty and do it not as a duty but as a worship, then the future of the students can become brighter. He said that a day will come when everyone will be interested in getting admission in government schools. He said that the government is sending so many funds that there will be no shortage of funds anywhere. He said that a person can forget any other person but can never forget his teacher.

MLA Happy said that by converting government schools into Schools of Eminence, the government has taken such an initiative, through which children of ordinary families are being provided education in modern methods on the lines of private schools.

MLA Rupinder Singh Happy said that for the first time in the country, the Aam Aadmi Party government has sent principals and teachers of government schools abroad to improve the quality of education and methods so that the self-confidence of Punjab students can be increased and they can achieve success.

The MLA said that the government's goal is that more and more children should enter government schools and get benefit from the valuable experience of government school teachers and the good infrastructure of government schools. He said that the campaign for comprehensive reform of the education sector can be successful only if parents and teachers continue to provide full support.

On this occasion, Deputy District Education Officer, Elementary, Kamaljit Kaur, said that teachers in government schools are well qualified. Students should take maximum advantage of that qualification. The government is providing a lot of facilities and good infrastructure to the education sector, due to which no one can stop the students of government schools from succeeding.

During the function, students who excelled in various fields were honored, and the MLA was honored by the village panchayats.On this occasion, SDM Khamano Mrs. Manreet Rana, Block Education Officer Pritpal Singh, Coordinator Smart Schools Gurdeep Singh Mangat, Inderjit Singh Member Punjab Mandi Board, along with the principals of the schools, teachers, and a large number of students were present.
