Former Health Minister of Punjab and Congress leader Balbir Singh Sidhu held a meeting with Congress leaders and workers of the Mohali constituency at the Phase-1 Mohali Industrial Area office regarding the upcoming Zila Parishad and Block Samiti elections.

During this meeting, he targeted the Aam Aadmi Party government, exposing its false policies. Sidhu said, “We are fully prepared for the upcoming Zila Parishad and Block Samiti elections.”

Taking a dig at the Bhagwant Mann-led AAP government, he said, “The people of Punjab are fed up with the current Bhagwant Mann government because the AAP government has failed miserably in fulfilling the claims and promises on which the Aam Aadmi Party came to power in the state with a large majority.”

He further said, “The people of Punjab are ready to defeat the AAP by winning these Parishad and Samiti elections and teaching it a lesson.” Targeting the AAP government, Sidhu said that any kind of highhandedness by the AAP government will not be tolerated in these elections, and if his government pushes any Congress worker, he himself will stand with that worker in support.

Furthermore, Sidhu grabbed people’s attention by highlighting the false promises of the Bhagwant Mann-led government and said, “The AAP government has done nothing in the last three years except print false advertisements, make false promises, and fool the people.”

Sidhu further said, “The Congress party will give a befitting reply to the Aam Aadmi Party in the Zila Parishad and Block Samiti elections and will win with a majority.”
