A public darbar chaired by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan at Devsar today witnessed overwhelming public response, with the public thronging the venue in large numbers to flag-off their issues.

During the camp, public delegations demanded extension of irrigation canal, macadamization of road from Churat to Razloo, fencing of forest area in Churat, road construction for Churat playfield, augmentation of drinking water supply in Churat and other demands.

The DC attentively listened to all grievances, and several issues of immediate nature were addressed on the spot. Officers present also briefed participants on actions taken regarding grievances raised in previous meetings.

In his address, the DC said that all demands have been recorded and will be pursued for suitable action. He highlighted the ongoing construction of the Brazloo Bridge, noting that the project is progressing well, with an aim to complete it ahead of schedule to benefit the public.
