The central government has insulted the former Prime Minister and the first Sikh Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh by not cremating him at Rajghat. MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla strongly condemned this and said that this has not only insulted Dr. Manmohan Singh but also revealed the feelings of the BJP towards the Sikhs.
MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla has strongly condemned the cremation of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh at Nigambodh. He said that Dr. Manmohan Singh was the Prime Minister who had helped the country overcome its sinking economy. Former US President Barack Obama also acknowledged his wisdom and considered him his guru.
Dr. Manmohan Singh had taken the country to such heights which a common man cannot even imagine. There is a huge difference between India before 1991 and India after that, all the credit for which goes to Dr. Manmohan Singh. Such a great personality who was and is respected by people all over the world has been betrayed in his own country.
By not giving a place at Rajghat to the Prime Minister of the country who held the reins of the country for ten years, BJP has proved that they have immense hatred towards Sikhs. He said that till date the last rites of all the Prime Ministers have been performed at Rajghat but by taking Dr. Manmohan Singh, a great economist and one who took the toughest decisions for the welfare of the country, to Nigambodh, BJP has also shown its dictatorial attitude.
Their face has been exposed in front of the people. He said that BJP has always behaved like this with Sikhs but today they have hurt the sentiments of Sikhs by behaving like this with the great son of the country.
