MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla along with his family paid his last respects to former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh. MP Aujla paid his respects on behalf of Amritsar and Hindu College to the mortal remains of Dr Manmohan Singh kept in the office of All India Congress Committee in Delhi. During this, former MLA Jugal Kishore Sharma, former Dr Raj Kumar Verka, MP Aujla's wife Andleeb Kaur Aujla and his son Babur Aujla were present.
MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla bid his last farewell to the former Prime Minister and great economist with teary eyes. MP Aujla said that Dr Manmohan Singh has always been his guide. He learned the tricks of politics under his guidance, while Dr Manmohan Singh's love for Amritsar has always inspired him. He had a special relationship with Guru Nagri and he always talked about bringing new schemes for this place.
MP Aujla said that Dr. Manmohan Singh had sent a message for him and the people of Amritsar during his Lok Sabha elections. He always gave them positive teachings and whenever they met him, they felt the urge to work with twice the enthusiasm for Guru Nagri. MP Aujla said that not only he but every member of his family is influenced by the life and simplicity of Dr. Manmohan Singh and his teachings will remain with them throughout their lives.
MP Aujla said that Dr. Manmohan Singh had completed his education from Hindu College, Amritsar, that is why on his behalf and on behalf of every citizen of Guru Nagri, he has offered flowers of respect to Dr. Sahib and wishes that God gives him a place in his feet.
