Under the able leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann, the district administration provides facilities to the common people at different places under "Aap Di Sarkar Aap De Dwar". Today, the camp of Amritsar Central Assembly Constituency was organized at DAV Senior Secondary School Hathi Gate.
MLA Dr. Ajay Gupta, SDM 1 Guru Simran Singh Dhillon, Tehsildar Rajwinder Kaur specially attended this camp. A large number of people attended today's camp.MLA Dr Gupta said that under the "Aap Di Sarkar Aap De Dwar" campaign, the problems of the common people are not only heard by the officials of various departments under one roof but also resolved on the spot, which saves the time of the common people and also reduces the expenses.
Complaints were also received on this occasion, which were forwarded to the concerned department for resolution. He said that due to these special camps, people are not having to make rounds of different offices. He also said that no needy beneficiary will be deprived of various facilities provided by the government.
MLA Dr Gupta said that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and his MLAs are engaged in serving the people day and night.He said that the guarantees made to the people are being fulfilled and the guarantees which have not been made are also being fulfilled.
175 people reached the camp with their cases, out of which 137 were settled on the spot. MLA Dr Ajay Gupta said that today 175 people applied for services related to various departments in the camp and 137 people were provided services on the spot.
He said that the work of those whose cases have not been settled on the spot will also be settled in the coming two-three days. During the camp, apart from the Revenue Department, Health Department, problems related to pension, disability certificate, water drainage, birth and death certificate of Municipal Corporation, drinking water and development works came up.
SDM 1 Guru Simran Singh Dhillon said that the officers/employees of the concerned departments were ordered to ensure that every beneficiary is informed about all the facilities provided by the government and the concerned department so that no beneficiary is deprived of any facility.
