The Department of Horticulture, District Srinagar, today organized a one day Training cum Exposure visit for TSP farmers within the State under the scheme MIDH to Central Institute of Temperate Horticulture (CITH) Rangreth. The group of farmers was flagged-off by the Director Horticulture, Kashmir, Zahoor Ahmad Bhat.

Joint Director Horticulture, Kashmir, Abdul Hameed Bhat; Chief Horticulture Officer, Srinagar, Joyti Prasad, District Horticulture Officer, Srinagar and DL-SMS Srinagar were present on the occasion.The orchardists were accompanied by Horticulture Development Officer Zakura and Horticulture Development Officer Shalimar during their visit to the Institute.

More than 100 orchardists participated in the said exposure visit. The participants were joined by the senior scientists of the Institute and were provided awareness regarding various modern techniques including propagation/ multiplication adopted in horticulture. esides Training, Refreshment and Toolkits were also distributed among the participants.
