The police has solved the dry fruit robbery incident in the cold store of village Ibban Kalan within a week. On which today the dry fruit traders in Majith Mandi thanked MLA Dr Ajay Gupta, SSP Rural Charanjit Singh. Today MLA Dr Ajay Gupta reached the traders in Majith Mandi along with SSP Rural Charanjit Singh.
On this occasion, MLA Dr Gupta said that first of all he praises the police administration, who solved this robbery incident in such a short time and recovered all the goods. He said that when this incident happened, he was in Chandigarh due to the session of the Assembly.
After the incident, he got a call from Anil Mehra, the head of Majith Mandi Association. As soon as he got his call, he kept direct contact with SSP Rural Charanjit Singh and the discussion continued. During this time, he also talked to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had assured him that DGP Gaurav Yadav is continuously working to solve this incident. MLA Dr Gupta said that after the incident, he had come to assure the traders of Majith Mandi on 6 September.
At that time, the faces of the traders were pale and their faces reflected trouble. He said that even at that time, the traders were told that the police will solve this incident soon. He said that today happiness is clearly visible on the faces of the traders.
MLA Dr Gupta said that the Bhagwant Mann government of Punjab is standing like a rock with the traders. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party government is committed to the safety of the lives and property of the traders.
He told SSP Charanjit Singh on the spot that the recovered dry fruits should be returned to the traders as soon as possible by following simple legal procedures. He said that PCR and police patrolling have been increased in Majith Mandi and its surrounding areas.
