The district administration organized two camps on Tuesday as part of the “Sarkar Tuhade Dwar” program in Samrala's Utalan village and Basant Park in Ludhiana city. MLA Jagtar Singh Diyalpura and Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney inaugurated the camps in Samrala and Ludhiana city respectively and addressed people’s grievances while also providing immediate solutions on the spot.
Several individuals received services related to various types of pensions, senior citizen cards, SC certificates, Aadhar updating, and other services at the camp. The MLA and DC emphasized the importance of ensuring that the benefits of welfare schemes reach people at the grassroots level.
They stated that public welfare is a top priority for the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and highlighted the state government’s efforts in conducting special camps to ensure that the benefits of government services and schemes reach the masses. They stressed the necessity of ensuring all eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits of government social welfare schemes and directed full utilization of all government welfare schemes at such camps.
They also mentioned that more such camps will be held across the district as part of the “Sarkar Tuhade Dwar”. During the camp, senior officials from different departments provided services to the people.
