A live performance by the renowned Punjabi singer, Jordan Sandhu, captivated the audience on the concluding day of the three-day cultural extravaganza, Techno Virsa 2024, held at the Rayat Bahra University. Hundreds of students joined in the revelry, dancing with abandon to the tunes of Jordan's chart-topping tracks.Techno Virsa-2024, a three-day festival celebrating both technical prowess and cultural vibrancy, kicked off with great pomp and fervour at the Rayat Bahra University campus. The infectious enthusiasm of the participating students was palpable throughout the event, reflecting the spirit of camaraderie and celebration.
Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chancellor of Rayat Bahra University and Chairman of the Rayat Bahra Group of Institutions, graced the occasion along with Mrs. Manjit Bahra, Vice Chancellor Dr. Parvinder Singh, Gurinder Bahra (Vice President), Satbir Singh Sehgal (VP) Dr. Dinesh Sharma (Registrar) Dr. SK Bansal dean academic and other dignitaries from the management and university.

ਰਿਆਤ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਰੋਜ਼ਾ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਟੈਕਨੋ ਵਿਰਸਾ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਪਤੀ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਮੌਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਗਾਇਕ ਜੌਰਡਨ ਸੰਧੂ ਦੀ ਲਾਈਵ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀ ਨੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਮੋਹਿਆ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਗਾਇਕ ਜੌਰਡਨ ਸੰਧੂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਇੱਕ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇੱਕ ਹਿੱਟ ਗੀਤ ਸੁਣਾਏ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ‘ਚੰਨ ਚੰਨ,ਤਰੀਫਾਂ,ਦੋ ਵਾਰੀ ਜੱਟ, ‘ਤੀਜੇ ਵੀਕ’, ‘ਮੁੱਛ ਰਖੀ ਆ’ ਅਤੇ ‘ਹੈਂਡਸਮ ਜੱਟਾ’ ਆਦਿ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਹਰਮਨ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਗੀਤ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ।
ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗਾਏ ਗੀਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਜਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੱਚਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੀਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੋਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਅਤ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਫੁੱਲਤਾ ਲਈ ਆਪਣਾ ਅਹਿਮ ਰੋਲ ਅਦਾ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਾਏ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਗੀਤ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਪਿੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਿੰਗਾਰ ਬਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਚਾਂਸਲਰ ਗੁਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਨੇ ਸਿੰਗਰ ਜੌਰਡਨ ਸੰਧੂ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਪਤੀ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਮੌਕੇ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਚਾਂਸਲਰ ਗੁਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਹਰਾ, ਵਾਈਸ ਚਾਂਸਲਰ ਡਾ: ਪਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਮੈਡਮ ਮਨਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਬਾਹਰਾ, ਰਿਆਤ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਦੇ ਵਾਈਸ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਗੁਰਿੰਦਰ ਬਾਹਰਾ , ਵਾਈਸ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਡਾ ਐਸ ਐਸ ਸਹਿਗਲ, ਡੀਨ ਅਕੈਡਮਿਕਸ ਡਾ ਐਸ ਕੇ ਬਾਂਸਲ, ਰਜਿਸਟਰਾਰ ਡਾ ਦਿਨੇਸ਼ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਹੋਰ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਵੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।
ਇੱਥੇ ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਰਿਆਤ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਵਿਖੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਰੋਜ਼ਾ ਤਕਨੀਕੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਟੈਕਨੋ ਵਿਰਸਾ- 2024 ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ,ਜਿਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਬੜੇ ਹੀ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਵੱਖ ਵੱਖ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਟੈਕਨੋ ਵਿਰਸਾ ਦੇ ਰੋਮਾਂਚਕ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਈਵੈਂਟਸ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਜੇਤੂ ਚੁਣੇ ਗਏ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਂਸਲਰ ਗੁਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਈਸ ਚਾਂਸਲਰ ਡਾ: ਪਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ।
