Haryana Chief Electoral Officer, Sh. Anurag Agarwal said that citizens are also keeping a close watch through C-Vigil mobile app regarding the violations of Model Code of Conduct implemented in view of the Lok Sabha general elections. Through the innovative C-Vigil mobile application, citizens are empowered to actively monitor and report violations of the Model Code of Conduct, ensuring fair and transparent elections.
Sh. Anurag Agarwal said that so far, 1204 complaints have been received on the C-Vigil mobile app in the state, which have been resolved within a specified time. He said that the public ensuring their participation in the system through the "C-Vigil" mobile app is a matter of pride.
He said that through the C-Vigil mobile app, the public is being empowered similar to election observers, enabling citizens to register complaints of violations of the Model Code of Conduct. Providing district-wise details, he said that the highest 317 complaints have been received from Sirsa district.
Similarly, 219 from Ambala, 46 from Bhiwani, 40 from Faridabad, 37 from Fatehabad, 78 from Gurugram, 46 from Hisar, 20 from Jhajjar, 22 each from Jind and Kaithal, 16 from Karnal, 31 from Kurukshetra, 3 from Mahendragarh, 36 from Mewat, 32 from Palwal, 67 from Panchkula, 5 from Panipat, 3 from Rewari, 34 from Rohtak, 87 from Sonipat, and 43 complaints from Yamunanagar have been received.
Among these, 959 complaints were found to be valid and action was taken accordingly.He appealed to the citizens to support in making the elections fair and transparent. This C-Vigil app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store for Android phones and from the App Store for iPhones, said Sh. Anurag Agarwal.
He said that citizens can take photos or record two-minute videos and upload them on this app. The photo or video will be uploaded on the app along with the GPS location. Complaints will be resolved within 100 minutes of registration. He mentioned that flying squads and static surveillance teams have real-time information and teams will immediately reach the location from where the complaint is received on the C-Vigil app, informed Sh. सी-विजिल मोबाइल एप के माध्यम से आमजन कर रहे हैं उल्लंघन की शिकायतें

हरियाणा के मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी अनुराग अग्रवाल ने कहा कि लोकसभा आम चुनावों के मद्देनजर लागू आदर्श आचार संहिता के उल्लंघन के सम्बन्ध में सी-विजिल एप के माध्यम से नागरिकों द्वारा भी कड़ी नजर रखी जा रही है। राज्य में अब तक 1204 शिकायतें सी-विजिल मोबाइल एप पर प्राप्त हुई हैं, जिनका निश्चित समय में समाधान किया जा चुका है। उन्होंने कहा कि आमजन सी-विजिल मोबाइल एप के माध्यम से सिस्टम में अपनी भागीदारी सुनिश्चित कर रहे हैं, यह गौरव की बात है।
श्री अनुराग अग्रवाल ने कहा कि सी-विजिल मोबाइल एप के माध्यम से आमजन को चुनाव ऑब्जर्वर के समान एक शक्ति प्रदान कर रहा है, जिससे नागरिक आदर्श आचार संहिता का उल्लंघन होने की शिकायत दर्ज करवा रहे हैं। उन्होंने जिलावार विवरण देते हुए बताया कि सर्वाधिक 317 शिकायतें जिला सिरसा से प्राप्त हुई हैं।
इसी प्रकार, जिला अंबाला से 219, भिवानी से 46, फरीदाबाद से 40, फतेहाबाद से 37, गुडग़ांव से 78, हिसार से 46, झज्जर से 20, जींद व कैथल से 22-22, करनाल से 16, कुरुक्षेत्र से 31, महेंद्रगढ़ से 3, मेवात से 36, पलवल से 32, पंचकूला से 67, पानीपत से 5, रेवाड़ी से 3, रोहतक से 34, सोनीपत से 87 तथा यमुनानगर से 43 शिकायतें प्राप्त हुई हैं। इनमें से 959 शिकायतें सही पाई गई और इन पर नियमानुसार कार्रवाई की गई।
उन्होंने नागरिकों से अपील करते हुए कहा कि चुनावों को निष्पक्ष, स्वच्छ और पारदर्शी बनाने में नागरिक अपना सहयोग करें। इस सी-विजिल एप को गूगल प्ले स्टोर से एंड्राइड फोन तथा एप स्टोर से आई फोन पर डाउनलोड कर सकते हैं। आमजन फोटो खींच सकते हैं या दो मिनट की वीडियो भी रिकॉर्ड करके इस एप पर अपलोड कर सकते हैं।
वह फोटो और वीडियो जीपीएस लोकेशन के साथ एप पर अपलोड हो जाएगी। शिकायत दर्ज करने के 100 मिनटों में शिकायत का समाधान किया जाएगा। उन्होंने बताया कि फलाइंग स्क्वाड, स्टेटिक सर्विलांस टीमों की लाइव जानकारी रहती है और सी-विजिल एप पर जिस स्थान से शिकायत प्राप्त होती है तो निकट टीमें तुरंत वहां पहुंचेंगी।
