The Election Commission of India has revised the schedule for the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls in Haryana. Under the revised programme, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will continue the door-to-door voter verification and collection of Enumeration Forms until July 24, 2026.

The re-arrangement of polling stations is also to be completed by the same date. The draft electoral roll will now be published on July 31, 2026. As per the revised schedule, claims and objections will be accepted from July 31 to August 30, 2026, and all such cases will be disposed of by September 28, 2026.

The final electoral roll will be published on October 3, 2026. Haryana Chief Electoral Officer, Sh. A. Sreenivas, said that as of July 14, Enumeration Forms had been distributed to 20,611,832 voters, covering 99.79 percent of the electorate.

Of these, 17,005,842 forms (82.33 percent) have already been digitised. So far, 3,336,031 voters (16.15 percent) have been identified as absent, shifted, deceased, or duplicate entries.

He appealed to all voters to submit their Enumeration Forms to their BLO or through the online facility by July 24, 2026. He cautioned that voters who fail to submit their forms by the deadline will not have their names included in the draft electoral roll to be published on July 31, 2026.

The Chief Electoral Officer has also directed all District Election Officers and other concerned officers to implement the revised schedule accordingly. The objective of the Special Intensive Revision is to ensure that every eligible citizen is included in the electoral roll and that the voter list remains updated, accurate, and error-free.

All voters are encouraged to actively participate in the exercise and ensure that every eligible member of their family is enrolled. For further information, citizens may contact their respective District Election Office, Booth Level Officer (BLO), or call the 1950 voter helpline.
