The University School of Engineering and Technology of Rayat Bahra University organized an expert talk on “An overview on Electric Buses”. Students of University School of Engineering and Technology from Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department participated in the workshop organised by Eicher Royal Enfield. Rajeev Sharma along with his team provides comprehensive knowledge regarding e-buses.
The department also organized a workshop on “Electric Field Injection”. The workshop was organised by EicherRoyal Enfield. Nitin Thakur, Zonal Manager-North (Technical Training Operations), along with his team provides comprehensive knowledge about the evolution and the advancements of various models of Royal Enfield.
The Department Electronics and Electrical Engineering also organized ESR Activity on Electricity Board-Rules and Safety. The students of Electronic and Electrical Engineering went to Rayat Bahra International School and visited the University Campus along with the faculty members of their department. The students were made aware about the electricity components, safety precautions while using them, and rules and punishment regarding electricity theft.
Chancellor of Rayat Bahra University Gurvinder Singh Bahra, and Vice-Chancellor Dr Parvinder Singh, appreciated the initiative of Dean University School of Engineering and Technology Dr Anmol Goyal, Head of Department Electronics and Electrical Engineering Er Sonal Sood in organizing a string of events for the benefit of the students.

ਰਿਆਤ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਆਫ਼ ਇੰਜਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਟੈਕਨਾਲੋਜੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ‘ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਬੱਸਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੰਖੇਪ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ’ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ’ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਐਕਸਪਰਟ ਟਾਕ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਰਾਜੀਵ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਟੀਮ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਈ-ਬੱਸਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਆਈਸ਼ਰ ਰਾਇਲ ਐਨਫੀਲਡ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਆਫ ਇੰਜਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਐਂਡ ਟੈਕਨਾਲੋਜੀ ਦੇ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰੀਕਲ ਅਤੇ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰੋਨਿਕਸ ਇੰਜਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ।
ਇਸੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ“ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਫੀਲਡ ਇੰਜੈਕਸ਼ਨ”ਉੱਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਆਈਸ਼ਰ ਰਾਇਲ ਐਨਫੀਲਡ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਨਿਤਿਨ ਠਾਕੁਰ, ਜ਼ੋਨਲ ਮੈਨੇਜਰ-ਉੱਤਰ (ਤਕਨੀਕੀ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ) ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਟੀਮ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਇਲ ਐਨਫੀਲਡ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਮਾਡਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਗਿਆਨ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਡਿਪਾਰਟਮੈਂਟ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰੋਨਿਕਸ ਅਤੇ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰੀਕਲ ਇੰਜਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਨੇ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਬੋਰਡ-ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ’ਤੇ ਈਐਸਆਰ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਾਨਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰੀਕਲ ਇੰਜਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਰਿਆਤ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਇੰਟਰਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਸਕੂਲ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਜ਼ਿਆਂ, ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਸਾਵਧਾਨੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਚੋਰੀ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਜ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਕੀਤਾ ।
ਰਿਆਤ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਚਾਂਸਲਰ ਗੁਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਈਸ-ਚਾਂਸਲਰ ਡਾ: ਪਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਡੀਨ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਆਫ਼ ਇੰਜਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਐਂਡ ਟੈਕਨਾਲੋਜੀ ਡਾ: ਅਨਮੋਲ ਗੋਇਲ, ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਸੋਨਲ ਸੂਦ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲਕਦਮੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ।
