Annual prize distribution and farewell to senior cadets who will get C certificate was held at Rayat Bahra University Auditorium. Lt Col Anup Pathania was the Chief Guest, Vice-Chancellor Dr Parvinder Singh along with Major AS Chahal inaugurated the function. Col Pathania gave prizes to cadets.
SUO Kartik Sharma got Best Cadet prize, Sgt Yogesh got Best Creative prize, Cadet Anuradha got prize for excellent painting, Under officer Harish Deep got prize for Best Turnout cadet, Many more prizes were given to cadets. Major AS Chahal said our two NSS cadets Nancy and Sushil have been selected for NIC camp to be held at Sikra in Rajasthan from March 1 and March 7.
In this camp 10 states are participating. Two NSS volunteers selected for NIC camp which was held at Chitkara University were selected for this camp which was held from February 5 to February 11. All these activities were held under the command of Major AS Chahal.

ਰਿਆਤ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਸੀ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਕੈਡਿਟਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਾਲਾਨਾ ਇਨਾਮ ਵੰਡ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਾਇਗੀ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਲੈਫਟੀਨੈਂਟ ਕਰਨਲ ਅਨੂਪ ਪਠਾਨੀਆ ਨੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਸ਼ਿਰਕਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਾਈਸ-ਚਾਂਸਲਰ ਡਾ: ਪਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਜਰ ਏ.ਐੱਸ. ਚਾਹਲ ਨੇ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਰਨਲ ਪਠਾਨੀਆ ਨੇ ਕੈਡਿਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਨਾਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੰਡ ਕੀਤੀ। ਐਸਯੂਓ ਕਾਰਤਿਕ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਬੈਸਟ ਕੈਡੇਟ ਦਾ ਇਨਾਮ, ਸਾਰਜੈਂਟ ਯੋਗੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਬੈਸਟ ਕ੍ਰਿਏਟਿਵ ਇਨਾਮ, ਕੈਡੇਟ ਅਨੁਰਾਧਾ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪੇਂਟਿੰਗ ਲਈ ਇਨਾਮ, ਅੰਡਰ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਹਰੀਸ਼ ਦੀਪ ਨੂੰ ਬੈਸਟ ਟਰਨਆਊਟ ਕੈਡੇਟ ਦਾ ਇਨਾਮ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਡਿਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਕਈ ਇਨਾਮ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ।
ਮੇਜਰ ਏ.ਐਸ. ਚਾਹਲ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਦੋ ਐਨਐਸਐਸ ਕੈਡਿਟਾਂ ਨੈਨਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਸ਼ੀਲ ਨੂੰ 1 ਮਾਰਚ ਅਤੇ 7 ਮਾਰਚ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨ ਦੇ ਸੀਕਰਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਐਨਆਈਸੀ ਕੈਂਪ ਲਈ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਕੈਂਪ ਵਿੱਚ 10 ਰਾਜਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਭਾਗੀਦਾਰ ਭਾਗ ਲੈ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਕੈਂਪ ਲਈ ਚਿਤਕਾਰਾ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਐਨਆਈਸੀ ਕੈਂਪ ਲਈ ਚੁਣੇ ਗਏ ਦੋ ਐਨਐਸਐਸ ਵਾਲੰਟੀਅਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।
