Punjab Information & Public Relations Minister S. Chetan Singh Jauramajra, on Tuesday, launched the new website of Information and Public Relations Department at his office here at Punjab Civil Secretariat-1, which will further enhance the public engagement, streamline information dissemination and foster transparency in the state's communication efforts.

Congratulating the officials and entire technical team, the Cabinet Minister expressed hope that newly designed mobile-friendly website https://ipr.punjab.gov.in/en/ will empower journalists and general public with latest information about the pro-people policies and achievements of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann led state government, and ensure the dissemination of right information amongst the masses as this website will support English, Punjabi and Hindi languages.

Highlighting the key features of the website, S. Chetan Singh Jauramajra said that the website is designed with a focus on simplicity and ease of use, ensuring that citizens can navigate through information effortlessly. "Visitors can find a wide range of information, including government initiatives, press releases, publications, and updates on various sectors", he added.

The Public Relations Minister said that this website is optimized for mobile devices, ensuring that users can access information on the go.Developed in collaboration with the National Informatics Center Punjab (NIC Punjab) and the Department of Governance Reforms (DGR), this website has a user-friendly interface and intuitive navigation, providing citizens with easy access to the information related to the government policies, programs and announcements.

Elaborating further, Director IPR Mr. Bhupinder Singh said that the website incorporates interactive features such as feedback forms, surveys, and quick links to relevant resources, facilitating effective communication between the government and the public.

Additional Director (Admin) Mr. Sandeep Singh Garha said that the collaboration with NIC Punjab and DGR will ensure technical support besides providing latest technological standards and security protocols that will meet the highest standards of functionality and security. 

Prominent amongst others who were present included, Mr. Vikram Jeet Grover Additional SIO, Mr. Anoop Kumar Jalali Senior Director, Mr. Lokesh Dwivedi Joint Director (IT) from NIC Punjab.
