Akshayakalpa Organic, India’s first certified organic dairy company and producer of the country’s most popular organic milk, has announced its commitment to reducing plastic pollution. After receiving an impressive response from Bengaluru, Akshayakalpa Organic has started the recycling initiative for Hyderabad.

The brand highlighted its commitment to reducing plastic pollution by recycling the plastic waste responsibly through its unique ‘Give Back the Milk Pack’ initiative. The initiative focuses on collecting used milk packs from consumers, which are then recycled.

Highlighting the importance of Hyderabad as a key market for Akshayakalpa Organic, the brand emphasizes its engagement with the conscious consumers with this distinctive initiative. Since its launch in Hyderabad, the drive has successfully collected 1019 kg of plastic, highlighting the city's proactive stance towards sustainability.

The brand has also collected a total of over 20000 kg of plastic in total from Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad, highlighting those small actions can lead to big changes when people come together for a common cause. This initiative has been a testament to the brand's commitment to creating a sustainable future for generations to come.

Akshayakalpa's recycling initiative encourages its consumers to follow three simple steps - rinse the pack for 30 seconds, dry it on the kitchen tile or hang it to dry, and once dry, return it by placing it in the delivery bag. By doing so, the consumers can actively participate in ensuring a sustainable future. Mr. Shashi Kumar, CEO and Co-Founder, Akshayakalpa Organic said, “Our mission at Akshayakalpa has always been to promote sustainability that benefit both people and the planet.

After receiving positive response from our consumers in Bengaluru, we have decided to start with the similar initiative for our consumers in Hyderabad where we have associated with "Waste Venture India" Sanga Reddy District, Telangana. It is a reminder of our responsibility to protect and preserve the environment.

We want to express our gratitude to our consumers, who came forward and took the pledge to create a better planet and others who have supported us in this initiative to make it a better place. This is just a start and there is an interesting journey ahead for us to accomplish better things in the future.”

In addition to its 'Give Back the Milk Pack' initiative, Akshayakalpa Organic has extended its commitment to environmental stewardship by organizing its inaugural cleanliness drive in Hyderabad. The initiative, which mirrors their ongoing efforts in Bengaluru, entails regular monthly clean-up activities in neighbourhood areas surrounding their offices. Employees actively participate in these drives, demonstrating their dedication to fostering cleaner and healthier communities.

By expanding these initiatives to Hyderabad, Akshayakalpa Organic aims to instil a culture of environmental consciousness and community engagement in every market it serves. This multifaceted approach underscores the brand's holistic commitment to sustainability and underscores its role as a catalyst for positive change in local communities.
