Mission Shakti District Hub for Empowerment of Women Jammu in collaboration with Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital,  organised a health cum interactive talk at Govt. Industrial training institute, R.S. Pura to mark the observance of WORLD CANCER DAY. 

Dr. Deepak Bharti,  a senior consultant in the department of medical Oncology at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital Katra, with  a wealth of experience ,  informed the students and staff of the college aby the science , symptoms and precautions of various types of Cancers. 

Dr. Deepak Bharti delivered a thought provoking  lecture reflecting his vas experience of knowledge.  The interactive session was successfully conducted under the guidance of District Mission Coordinator Mission Shakti, (DHEW) Jammu, she also corresponded the message of WORLD CANCER DAY.

" Close the Care Gap " which means the process of working together. 

Principal of Govt.ITI R S Pura  facilitated the whole event and thanked Dr. Deepak Bharti for sharing his valuable experience and DHEW Jammu for organising the talk .During the session Mammography Screening was also done free of cost by the hospital.
