Sunderkand Paath was organized at the Raj Bhawan in the early morning on the occasion of the consecration ceremony of the idol of Shree Rama at Ram Temple Ayodhya. Sunderkand was recited in the Yagyashala established at Raj Bhavan in the presence of Governor Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla and Lady Governor Smt. Janaki Shukla, Later, the Governor witnessed the Pran Pritishtha ceremony live in the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan.
Rajesh Sharma, Secretary to the Governor and other Raj Bhavan employees were also present on the occasion.On the occasion, the Governor said that only those who have Bhagwan Ram in their hearts realize the impact of Ayodhya.
The Governor said, “This is a time of experiences beyond imagination and it is the power of devotion, which can be felt not in words but in the hearts.” He said that Indian heritage and culture has got new dimensions. He said that this ceremony also gives the message of peace and harmony.
