Individuals in Anantnag exemplify the Central Government's commitment to inclusive development through the DAY-NULM campaign, aimed at empowering urban poor households.The success story of Sada-Bahar in the implementation of DAY-NULM in Anantnag is truly inspirational. 

Three young boys from Pahalgam town transitioned from a fading tourist filming venture to a thriving joint venture in tourist camping, supported by the DAY-NULM mission management unit and the bank. Their journey highlights the transformative power of DAY-NULM in fostering sustainable livelihoods and empowering local communities.

Testimonials from Sada-Bahar beneficiaries echo gratitude for the opportunities provided by DAY-NULM. Ishfaq expresses, “Day-NULM has shown us the way to a better life, and we are happy and focused on our work.” Mudasir acknowledges the timely support, stating, “Thanks to the Day-NULM mission management unit and ACC Bank Pahalgam for continuous support and guidance.”

The AL-KHIDMAT SHG's success in producing and supplying Jute Bags and Carry Bags exemplifies the impact of DAY-NULM in empowering women entrepreneurs and fostering economic growth.The Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM) is dedicated to reducing urban poverty by empowering individuals with self-employment and skilled wage opportunities. 

DAY-NULM emphasizes grassroots institutions' role in nurturing sustainable livelihoods and recognizes the entrepreneurial spirit of the poor to overcome poverty.The mission's commitment extends to providing shelter, addressing urban street vendors' livelihood concerns, and facilitating universal coverage in skill development and credit facilities.
